Die Impak van Ware Christenskap
Ek en 'n persoon gesels vandag op Facebook oor die impak van ware Christenskap in "die kerk" na aanleiding van ons onderskeie ondervindinge, en ek plaas 'n uitreksel van ons gesprek hier, om te dien as 'n herinnering aan een en elkeen van ons dat ons optrede en behandeling van ander, nie ongemerk verbygaan nie (sekere dele is uitgesny en geparafraseer om individue se privaatheid te verseker en te beskerm):

Ek hoop die gesprek hierbo laat ook jou / ons (almal regtig) besef, dat:
Jy is nie die enigte een wat tot God mag nader nie,
Jy is ook 'n sondaar en een ou se sonde is nie groter as 'n ander sin voor God nie,
Jy mag nie oordeel nie, daardie reg is God sin,
Jou optrede kan dalk tot die nadeel van God se kerk en Sy saak wees,
JY wel in tel is by God, mense is wispelturig en kan nie op gereken word nie, maar JY kan ALTYD jou na God wend en HY SAL JOU NOOIT teleurstel nie. GOD HET JOU OOK LIEF!

Jy weet, "die kerk" is die liggaam van God hier op aarde, Sy ledemate, wat Sy werk hier moet doen, waardeer ons Sy Lig vir die wêreld moet laat skyn, al is ons nie volmaak nie, maar ons doen so baie dinge wat mense ee...rder wegdryf van Hom af deur ons wêreldse, hoogmoedige, "judgemental," en selfsugtige manier van ons naasbestaandes hanteer.
Ons Vader ken elkeen v ons se harte, Hy alleen kan ons oordeel. Ons opdrag is om mekaar lief te he, te leer wees soos wat Hy ons die voobeeld gestel het, en op te hef, nie te verdoem of te min te ag nie. Ons staan almal skuldig voor Hom, maar Hom kom die oordeel alleen toe. Dawid se lewe is vir my so sprekende voorbeeld v God se liefde, Sy genade, en Sy regverdigheid. Aan God al die eer en dank vir ons omstandighede, goed en "sleg" (want "sleg" is dit net uit ons onvolmaakte perspektief); Hy sorg vir ons en ons siele beter as wat ons ooit voor sal kan vra.
