Die Impak van Ware Christenskap
Ek en 'n persoon gesels vandag op Facebook oor die impak van ware Christenskap in "die kerk" na aanleiding van ons onderskeie ondervindinge, en ek plaas 'n uitreksel van ons gesprek hier, om te dien as 'n herinnering aan een en elkeen van ons dat ons optrede en behandeling van ander, nie ongemerk verbygaan nie (sekere dele is uitgesny en geparafraseer om individue se privaatheid te verseker en te beskerm):

Jy is nie die enigte een wat tot God mag nader nie,
Jy is ook 'n sondaar en een ou se sonde is nie groter as 'n ander sin voor God nie,

Jy weet, "die kerk" is die liggaam van God hier op aarde, Sy ledemate, wat Sy werk hier moet doen, waardeer ons Sy Lig vir die wêreld moet laat skyn, al is ons nie volmaak nie, maar ons doen so baie dinge wat mense ee...rder wegdryf van Hom af deur ons wêreldse, hoogmoedige, "judgemental," en selfsugtige manier van ons naasbestaandes hanteer.
Ons Vader ken elkeen v ons se harte, Hy alleen kan ons oordeel. Ons opdrag is om mekaar lief te he, te leer wees soos wat Hy ons die voobeeld gestel het, en op te hef, nie te verdoem of te min te ag nie. JESUS, ons bron van lewe en krag!
Vandag, toe ek weer die foto bestudeer van my pragtige seun wat so vol lewenslus en energie sy fisiese talente vir sy ouers vertoon (foto geneem: Kersaand, 2010-12-25), besef ek toe dat daar ‘n BAIE BELANGRIKE LEWENSLES vir my in hierdie oënskynlike pronkerige pret-gevulde foto opgesluit lê!
Net soos wat my kind fisies sterk geraak het van al sy ge-oefen en oor-en-oor probeer slae, tot hy sy toertjie vervolmaak het en hy dit vir ons NET REG wou wys, vol ekstra woema gepomp van die spesiaal vervaardigde Kersfees weergawe vanuit die botteltjie Coke a Cola, springend van die ekstra kaffeïne wat dit hom gegee het, net so…
…raak ons as kinders van ons Vader God, Koning Jesus, God Heilige Gees geestelik sterker as ons ons geloof oefen, oor-en-oor tot God nader in gebed tot heiligmaking (‘n voortdurende proses), en ons woema, ons krag, kry ons van God se spesiale Kersgeskenk vir ons: Sy Woord wat op die voorgrond van die foto onder die Haleluja boekie uit loer: Die Bybel, wat propvol is van die lewende, onuitputlike bron van lewe en energie, DIE WOORD WAT LEWEND GEWORD HET, ons eie spesiaal voorsienne kaffeïen: JESUS CHRISTUS wat ons harte vol van Sy vrede en blydskap maak tot ons kan opspring van opgewonde dankbaarheid vir Sy Verlossings werk vir ons!!!!
Hoe bevoorreg is ons nie om kinders van ‘n LEWENDE GOD te kan wees nie! Dankie Abba Vader! Haleluja! Amen!

Spreading the Good News (The Gospel) to all;
More involvement of youth in ministry;
Publishing interesting religious and other articles of interest;

Acting as an information collection and distribution contact-point for members of the church and faith - to name but a few.
